At Fortrose Academy, AAA (Special Exam Arrangements), are organised and managed by the Learning Support Department. They are decided after consideration between subject teachers, Learning Support teachers and the pupils. Parents are consulted, and then a request is made to the SQA who award the arrangements. This happens annually. They are requested on an individual, subject by subject basis. They are intended to remove a learning barrier and redress any significant educational disability.
